Great. Then you can really tailor your independent contractor agreement to a particular contractor/situation. As the hiring party, it is greatly in your interest to protect and lay forth the ownership rights of any intellectual property that may be developed.
If your answer is no,

Many parties (such a venture capitalists and attorneys) rarely, if ever, sign non-disclosure agreements.
