amendment and statement under 37 CFR 1.57(f),

Hi,
In reply to a non-final Office action, I filed an amendment to the claims to added a new limitation that was supported only by non-patent literature. The amendment filed caused the examiner to determine that the incorporated subject matter was "essential material". The examiner rejected the claims that include the new limitation under 35 U.S.C. 112, first paragraph, in a final Office action.
I now want to file an RCE and to copy material from this NPL. I'd be much thankful to get an example of office action response with amendment under 37 CFR 1.57(f), together with appropriate statement.
