Chemical patent application
Posted by Anonymous . updated on 6/8/2011
I filed a method patent for cleaning hard surfaces comprising essential oils selected from the group A, B, C;
organic acids selected from the group comprising D,E,F; and NaOH to bring the pH of the composition in the range 2-4.
The Examiner issued a 102 rejection under 102 b, citing a patent that discloses a cleaning composition that discloses C, and use of NaOH to bring the pH of the composition to 9.
Is my claim anticipated by the reference? If it is, how can the claim be amended so that it is novel over the reference?
