Clothing patent

I want to start a business that essentially recycles clothing, except I want the end product (the clothes I make) to be under my own brand. I plan to remove any logos or tags that would link the new piece to the original manufacturer. Is this a possible patent infringement case? Or something else illegal? Also, could I patent the process?
