2000,
Just getting a patent may be a waste of time, money and worry.
It is usually easy to get a patent. The trick is to get a patent with claims broad engough to give the protection you need, and then even if you have the patent, it still has to be commercialized.
There is a $100M a year industry getting patents. Only one in ten thousand get back more than they pay. I can't guarantee that you will make money but I can pick up difficulties in advance. That is why I have ?ELAINE's Workshop?, E arly L egal A dvice I s N ot E xpensive? and the Reality Check?.

Silverlady; Step one would be to post your complaint in the "Invention Scams & Frauds" discussion forum found at: http://inved.org/mailman/listinfo/scammed_inved.orgOnce registered you send your explanatory email listing TIME, PLACE, FORM, and EVENT (specifics please) to: Scammed@Inved.org You will be provided a list of solutions toward getting a portion of your monies back. Success has been achieved by a very few. SLAPP lawsuits have become the order of the day ( www.inventored.org/SLAPP) but no so far in their case - - assuming I have correctly identified IPD that is: 4601 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Ste 300, Coral Gables, Florida 33146 ? I have several companies on the to be posted to the site watch list using part of the above acronym in their names. Would the above address be the correct one you went to? Penny
