Well get yourself a hard bound lab notebook, jot down the date and time you had your idea. Make sure the writing is legible. Write down all the specifics of your idea, do NOT disclose all the specifics of your idea a vague abstract to tell friends or anyone would suffice say hey i thought of an idea for a car that can really be different!
