Hi there,
The types of patents in Ecuador are as follows: Patents of Invention and Patents of PCT.
The Application Process is as follows:
Filing requirements:
- A Power of attorney duly legalized up to the Ecuadorian Consulate;
- Specifications, claims, abstract and drawings;
- A Certified copy of the priority document duly legalized up to the Ecuadorian Consulate in the event priority is to be claimed;
- A Deed of assignment of the inventor rights to the applicant duly legalized up to the Ecuadorian Consulate
