I have an idea of an utility product and I would like to know if it would be profitable in case I sell it to a company

You can only know if it is profitable or not if you take a look around and do a specific analysis in the field of invention to see what prior art has gone before also the point to be understood is that there may be prior similar inventions, but how good your business plan relates to your demographic or customers you are looking at, what would be the appealing factors of your idea and if it would appeal to your clientele. Maybe a marketing person can help you out.
