How to preserve 19 year old rubber nipples from baby bottles?

I found an old rubber nipple in my basement. It is from a baby bottle. How do you prevent it from being sticky? I want to preserve it because I believe it was the rubber nipple I got my picture taken with as a toddler (I have pictures of me age 2 with a baby bottle). It is about 19 years old. It's in my room. I'm scared that it will get sticky. It is made from latex (it's brown) and the company that made it was Evenflo. I also have a silicone rubber nipple made by Gerber. How do I preserve them both?
