Hi there,

You may choose to trademark the name of the business if its the same as your eight word saying. Which means that should you run a business of selling products with the same slogan attached to them, you may choose to trademark the name of your brand.

On the other hand, if your eight word saying is completely new to the world and something that hasn't been seen or read before or more importantly USED before, then you may choose to go in for a copyright of the expression(eight word saying)
