Idea/Patent/Trademark questions

I noticed that Warner Brothers is currently selling a piece of jewelry and style that I came up with several years ago. I exchanged several emails with WB and unfortunately at the time I was unable to afford to pursue the product with WB. I mailed my idea to myself with the most reliable service the New York Post Office offers and never opened it since. I know it might not be valid but I thought I would at least ask an expert. Any advice??
