Info for trademarks/copyrights/licenses
Posted by Anonymous . updated on 2/26/2009
I have a product that I would to place NFL logo on, as well as NCAA football logo. the product is completely separate from the hats, jerseys, pillows, or other normal merchandise. I am very ignorant when it comes to licensing/trademarks/copyrights/and royalties. Any help will greatly appreciated. thank you, Kevin

Before my question. I have called MLB/NFL licensing offices & they will just not provide any information. They solve everything by telling you to apply & they will let you know in 6-8 weeks. I have 2 question. 1. I have a product that I want to attach a team logo. I am purchasing the logo from a company that is licenced to make the logo. Do i need to obtain a license to do so? 2. If I do need a license to attach this logo. Then what type of license will I need? Any advise will be very much appreciated. Thanks, Angel

Thanks for the info. I have been looking at this real hard since the MLBP is the worst one. I just want to make sure there is no issue. I will consult it with a local lawyer.
Thanks
