Intellectual Property Rights - Offshore Software Development Scenario

I work for an Europe based global organization with an exclusive offshore software development center in India, we cater to software development for the various divisions within the same organization(Example: Defence, Avionics, Transport, etc....). In this context from the Intellectual Property Rights perspective are there any favourable clauses to reuse the software components developed among the various divisions.
Any clarification or pointers to existing IPR law in the above scenario would be very much appreciated
