Ive got a new idea and I don't know where to start! I have contacted a few places e.g Patent & Trademark of America..but people are asking me to send my idea in.my question is who can i trust? and i dont know anything about Patents or Trademarks but i do know its a big world and anyone could steal an idea. thanx

most patent company's will tell u to sign a disscloser,when u submit your idea,it is so that they can not do nothing to your idea without your premission.a trustworthy company is patent assistance world wide,also check out these company through the BBB to see if they are credited.

Your best bet is to hire a patent attorney who is legally registered to practice before the proper government agency in the country where you reside. Generally, you are unwise to disclose your idea to anyone other than a patent attorney.
