Is 9:30 PM too early to go to bed?

I have to sleep at 9:30 PM on weeknights. If not, I'll get in trouble. I think 9:30 PM is a bedtime for younger kids like in elementary school. Kids my age get to stay up WAY later than my bedtime. I think I'm the only person in my WHOLE ENTIRE SCHOOL that goes to bed that early, seriously. I've asked my parents if I can stay up like my friends, but they both said no! Is 9:30 PM too early for older kids like me to go to bed on a school night?
