can I amend a provisinal application after it has been submitted

Hi there,
The good news is you may add additional matter to your provisional application when you are converting it to a utility patent application within the period of one year. But do note the period of one year is final and is a bar date to convert your provisional application to a utility patent application.
Should you fail to convert your application within this term period decided by the USPTO, then you shall lose the chance to maintain your provisional patent application filing date as your PRIORITY date.
