Question on Real Estate Multiple Listing Service

The business process (if that is what you could properly call it) of advertising real estate for sale on the interface that the Multiple Listing Real Estate Service offers... well is that considered a patentable business process? This may help me clear up a forthecoming question I may have about a similiar service I would propose, but knowing whether or not the MLS service is a patentable business process (or perhaps the software is patentable) would assist in knowing if my idea would also be a patentable process.

A process and interface such as you describe are potentially patentable subject
matter, but perhaps there are obstacles for the inventor to patent
them because of his prior use, lack of novelty or other reasons.
If a process is patentable, it is most likely the case that software
implementing that process can also be protected by a patent.
At least under US law.
