Very short election response, no traverse so no remarks, a good idea?

Posted by Anonymous . updated on 2/26/2009
I'm Pro Se and have chosen which species to elect and without traverse and pulled several random examples out of a PAIR search for the format of my response.  One was extremely short and to the point and is linked below (again not mine and I hope it is not inappropriate to show someone else’s work).  Is this extremely short reply like this a good way to go?  I've carefully read over all the relevant topics and gathered that you don't have anything to gain by running off at the mouth to prevent prosecution estoppels?  Especially if you’re liable to put your foot in your mouth as we Pro Se'rs are.

On a general note I wish there was a condensed library of "really good" examples of all the standard forms that come up, sort of a greatest hits.  It would really help to know what the IP experts regard as well crafted work of all types from applications to filing strategy (who are the Yoda's out there we should be modeling ourselves on).

Since it is a species restriction, it's usually best not to traverse and keep the response short and sweet.
