The question is how does one locate foreign patent agents? There are number of directories that you can use to locate foreign patent agents. You could do a US PTO search or you could do a US Google search or Yahoo search to find them. You can ask for referrals to your patent attorney that is in your primary country. It is best to work with a network that is established and trusted by people you know, because it is a complicated process. There has to be communication regularly between the patent attorney, or the inventor if you are doing it yourself, and the foreign attorney because you need to make sure it complies with the laws of each country as the process moves forward.
